Many of you have been following us for quite a while and we truly appreciate your support.
To those of you that have recently joined us, 2024 has been a year of tremendous growth for TortoiseLand — we rescued 85 tortoises & turtles and successfully rehomed 67 to loving human companions.
We would love to have your feedback to help us build fun and informative newsletters in the future.
We’re proud of the work we do and 2025 is shaping up to be our best year ever:Based on our successful Adults with Disabilities Program, we will be launching exciting youth education programs, including at risk & homeless youth.In 2025 we will expand our reach via our social media channels and educate the public about the plight of Chelonians, their crucial role in the environment, and the dangers that global warming presents.And to ensure our Chelonians (turtles & tortoises) have plenty of room to roam, we’re building spacious new habitats including heated pens for year-round care.
But to accomplish our goals we need your help. The truth is that we are significantly underfunded. For us to provide world class care for our animals and deliver on everything we have planned for 2025, we need to raise $20k to get us rolling.
