Lynn is an IT professional, amateur linguist, and free-lance writer. She worked in the IT industry for more than 40 years and was fortunate to travel and work outside of the US, primarily in Europe and Mexico. She speaks Spanish, Italian, and French and is studying other languages. As a free-lance writer, she has published articles about Arts and Culture including as a HuffPost Contributor and writes currently on Medium. Lynn has always loved animals and cared deeply about nature and the environment, values that her parents instilled within the family. She feels that the efforts of organizations like Tortoiseland are integral to helping tortoises survive and to educating the public about the role that these amazing creatures play in the ecosystem.
