Sunny Bak, a renowned photographer from New York, has been capturing images since her teenage years. With a career spanning decades, she’s celebrated for her iconic work in 80s fashion photography, her work with the Beastie Boys in the beginning of their career, and her expertise as a celebrity photographer.  Bak continues to make a significant impact on the world today. She’s president of the Venice Chamber of Commerce, where her leadership has contributed to the community’s growth and prosperity, as well as president of the Venice Art Crawl, where she helps maintain Venice Beach’s historic legacy as an artist community by promoting local artistic talent. Bak’s other major passion, aside from art, is animal welfare. Her rescue Chihuahua, Pinky Bak, is never far from her side and is almost as well-known as Bak in the community. Bak is excited to be on the Board of Directors for Tortoiseland.
