For 25 years, Kevin has worked in the television industry full-time. He dedicates his time, energy, and finances to rescuing, caring for and rehoming tortoises. He launched “The Tortoise Guy” on YouTube, in August of 2020, to share his love and joy of tortoises with the world. The encouragement of his subscribers, friends and neighbors inspired him to apply for 501(c)(3) Nonprofit status. In September of 2022, TortoiseLand became federally recognized as a Tortoise Rescue, Rehabilitation, Rehoming and Educational Organization.

Today, The Tortoise Guy YouTube channel has grown to over 23,000 subscribers with over 2 million views. On Instagram, his reach extends even further to more than 300,000 followers. His weekly livestreams on TikTok have also earned him 6,000 followers with thousands of viewers, in just 6 months.
